GENTLE YOGA ONLINE

MONDAY : 9:30 - 10:30 AM EST

Gentle yoga is a class structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. Includes foundational principles of alignment, mindful breathing, and yoga basics. Yoga props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, chairs and straps are often used for safe practice and to allow the body to fully achieve each position comfortably.


This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles.

MINDFUL MONDAY MEDITATION

The Mindful Monday Meditation follows the Monday Gentle Yoga Class that runs 9:30 - 10:30 AM EST

Mindful Monday Meditation will run 10 to 15 minutes as a way to deepen your yoga or meditation experience.

Sooth your mind and body from stressful times with this monthly evening Restorative Practice followed by Yoga Nidra guided meditation.

In times of stress and anxiety, our bodies tend hold tension in our muscles and our minds, perpetuating the feeling of unease. When we experience the relaxation benefits of yoga, we can lower our physical tension, which helps release the grip that anxiety. Have your blankets and pillows available.

Suitable for any level, variations and options for different practice levels offered, with many options to use props to explore and enjoy traditional poses in untraditional ways, enabling you to feel steady and comfortable.

Learn "Why" and "How" a regular yoga practice is the perfect solution for helping to manage the natural process of aging. As we age, our body tends to lose muscle and bone mass, strength, flexibility, range of motion, balance, core strength, bone mass and overall alignment. A regular Yoga practice has been proven to slow these affect of aging - and even improve. Each class will address different issues through therapeutic poses, movement and breathwork.

ALL LEVELS YOGA ON TURTLE BEACH, SIESTA KEY, FLORIDA 

RETURNING FALL 2021

Yoga on the beach! Join me on Turtle Beach – located on the south end of Siesta Key, for an  all-levels morning practice. Class will be set up on the sands located in front of the stairs/ramp in the north side of the parking lot.

Students are encouraged to bring their own mats or towels, along with bottled water.

Donation minimum requested: $5.00 (or more)

*SPECIAL NOTE:
*6-FOOT SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE REQUIRED.
*MASKS ARE SUGGESTED WHEN ENTERING THE BEACH AREA AND SETTING UP YOUR MAT.
